- It was hard for her to believe that she would catch a fish while free-diving. But she managed to do it. The tripletail fish that she caught at that time weighed about 15 pounds (a little less than 7 kilograms). The record for women’s free-diving fish is 20 pounds (about 9 kilograms) & Jacki hopes to break that record.
- Shea participated in a fishing tournament called Fishing for a Cure. The money raised for this tournament went directly to charity organizations.
- She broke her hand due to a close encounter with a shark!
- She has also taken BowHunting as a hobby and manages to pull about 43 pounds.
