Elizabeth was born in August of 1996 and grew up in London, England.
From a young age, Filips was obsessed with theatre and art. She had dreams of becoming a successful stage actor and painter.

Elizabeth also loved old paintings and wanted to buy some for herself but because her mother could not afford them, she would buy her cheap paints and canvases to replicate the paintings.

In 2018, she eventually reapplied to King’s College and began studying medicine.

When she finished her 3rd year of school, Elizabeth decided to take a year off so she could work as a one-on-one life coach and a strategy consultant.
She also worked at Selfridges department stores but was forced to quit when they closed down during the COVID-19 lockdown.

During this time, Filips took a job as YouTuber Ali Abdaal’s personal assistant after he announced the job on his Instagram account. Ali says that Elizabeth got the job not because she was insanely qualified. Instead, she had a positive vibe, offered value, saw his post on social media, and sent an opportunistic DM.
One year later, Filips left the job with Ali and started medical school again in August of 2022.
In addition to all the aforementioned jobs she has worked, Elizabeth is also a popular YouTuber. She started her channel in November 2020 and trained briefly with Ali Abdaal as part of his Part-Time YouTuber Academy.
