- Tammy’s family, The Bakkers, have a very colorful life indeed. Her parents had two children; Tammy, who was called Tammy Sue “Sissy” Bakker Chapman, and her younger brother Jamie Charles “Jay” Bakker, who was born on December 18, 1975.
- Her parents divorced on March 13, 1992. On September 4, 1998, her father married Lori Beth Graham, a former televangelist, just 50 days after they met.
- In 2002, the couple adopted five children. Her mother married Jim Baker’s friend and associate, Roe Messner, the contractor whose company built PTL’s Heritage USA.
- A movie named “Fall From Grace” was made, starring Kevin Spacey and Bernadette Peters, showcasing the rise and fall of Tammy’s father from fame.
