Ghazala Javed was born on January 01, 1988. Her birthplace was Swat Valley, Pakistan.

She was originally from Peshawar, Pakistan.
Family : Ghazala had a sister named Farhat Javed & a brother named Kamran who was auto mechanic by profession. Her mother’s name was Nishat Biwi.

Education : She left her studies when she was in class five. The reason behind leaving her studies that she was so pretty, that males used to tease and stalk her a lot.
She and her family lived a very poor life but after she became famous in the world of music, the family condition improvised.
Her songs & dance were the main source of income for the family.

She always had a love for Pashto Music learning it from a music teacher named Gul.

Ghazala Javed Wedding and Marriage :

Ghazala Javed married Jehangir Khan who was a property dealer in the city of Peshawar on February 07, 2010.

But after problems with her husband, she later started living with her father.
Ghazala came to know about her husband’s first marriage. Soon after, Ghazala got separated from her husband in November 2010.
She filed an appeal in the Civil Court of Asghar in Swat, Pakistan for legal separation from Jehangir. The court gave judgment in her favor on December 4, 2011.

Ghazala Javed Death :

In June 2012, Ghazala & her father was assassinated on road by Jehangir and his cousin named Iqbal by a 0.30 caliber pistol. They both died on spot.
She had four bullets on her body and her father had 3.

On December 2013, the Swat District & Sessions Court found her ex-husband, Jehangir guilty of murdering Ghazala and her father.
The court awarded him death sentences along with a capital penalty of Rs. Seven crores.
Subsequently, her ex-husband approached the Peshawar High Court, the court set aside the order given by Hon’ble Swat District & Sessions Court on the basis of conciliation amid the successors of the victims and Jehangir.

She became popular with fresh broad-minded folkloric Pashtuns in North West Pakistan.

During her short lifespan, she recorded around twelve albums and many single songs.
She performed at weddings and parties in Kabul and Dubai wherein they her $ 12000 to $ 15000 per performance, making her one of the highest paid Pashto performers.
