This serial is based on the life of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Raje played by actor Dr. Amol Kolhe. There have been ups and downs in the life of Sambhaji Maharaj since childhood. He lost his mother at the age of 2 but grew up under the influence of his grandmother Jijabai.

This series shows the life and journey of Sambhaji Raje and how he became one of the fiercest Maratha kings. It is a story of this brave fighter who fought for Swarajya.
