Freshers is a youth-oriented serial produced by Dreaming 24 Seven & directed by the hit director Sanjay Jadhav (of Duniyadari fame), on the channel Zee Yuva which was launched in 2016.
The story is centered around seven youngsters who just entered the world of senior college, after 12th to pursue their graduation and degree.
All the 7 students hail from different family backgrounds and also from different parts of Maharashtra. Each has their own dreams and ambitions. Initially, critical of their differences, they start enjoying a beautiful journey of discovering their true selves.
After the runaway success of Dil Dosti Duniyadari in 2015, it will be interesting to see the success of this serial targeted to young and college-going audiences. Early reviews have been very promising.
The star cast includes the following young but promising actors of Marathi television, theatre, and cinema :
- Actress Mitali Mayekar plays the role of Sayali Bankar, the most dynamic and dashing female character in the group. She was last seen in the movie Urfi with actor Prathamesh Parab.
- Actress Amruta Deshmukh plays the role of Pari, she is quite rich and comes from Latur. The actress became popular with her role in Colors Marathi Tumcha Amcha Same Asta and will be seen on Zee for the first time.
- Actress Rasika Vengurlekar plays the role of Renuka. She was last seen in the serial Dil Dosti Duniyadari on Zee Marathi in a short role as Pragalbha. Opposite to her character in 3D which was dynamic, Renuka is meek and timid
- Actress Rashmi Anpat plays the role of a Virat Kohli Fan. She was last seen in the Colors Marathi serial Asava Sundar Swapnancha Bangala
- New actor Shubhankar Tawade essays the role of Samrat Patil, a Kabaddi player who is originally from Kolhapur

I use to watch Freshers Zee Yuva serial in my college days without missing any episode…I simply loved it very much……Plz start this serial again with new stories but with same cast if possible…..We will love watching it….plz
