  1. “Your shooting bothers me”? Really? I doubt seriously you could live like Sue does and stick with it year after year. Just reading about her bear attack and how she waited for 10 days before rescue. Albeit, I don’t have any respect for you either.

  2. Sue,

My Sue died of cancer 4 years ago. We were married for over 54 years. She knew you were my TV girlfriend and didn’t mind, she liked you too. I spent 15 months in the Galena area 54-56 and was reassigned to Ft. Yukon 61-62. Love seeing the familiar sights of North Alaska and you overcoming every problem and difficulty. Good luck with your newly purchased cabin, I hope you will be able to retire there and enjoy it in your old age.

  3. Sue,

My niece and I watch Life Below Zero a LOT! Really enjoy the show, and both agree You are our favorite on the show. I must say, you are impressive. My niece is 36 and I am 65…and neither of us would be able to live as you do. We’re in Southeastern PA, many miles from you, but watching the show allows us to view a totally different way of life, we thank you for that. Wishing you the very best!!

  4. Sue,

I think you’re a hell of a woman An many men I know couldn’t or wouldn’t do what you do. Hell, my husband can’t even replace a toilet ring attached to the tank lol…You do more than your share and I think it’s highly commendable of you for all you do. You learn as you go and you’re brilliant!! I wish I had your talent.

May God Bless You and keep you forever!!

  5. I would love to meet Susie. If I was younger I would love too be there helping take care of the camp. My. Dream would be, to get to Kavik before I die, take care of yourself.
    Sue

  6. God bless you Sue Aikens. You are awesome. You are a great teacher. Blessings on your new home and property. May God protect you and continue to give you wisdom.

    Linda in Plymouth MA.

  7. Hi,
I would like to know who took Sue’s gas (fuel) for her place while she was ill in the hospital?
In the UK the episodes are speratic so I am left wondering what happened.
    Thanks,
    Doug.

  8. I love Sue she’s so tough smart courageous id love to go there for 6months or more, but I couldn’t afford the stay maybe I could help in trade now that would be cool

  9. I would love to meet Susie. If I was younger I would love too be there helping take care of the camp. My. Dream would be, to get to Kavik before I die, take care of yourself. Susie

  10. I love watching Life Below Zero. I’ve watched since the beginning. I would love to visit her camp. Hunt and fish. That would be great. I had a friend who Sue reminds me of and her name was Sue also. My Sue had a ranch in Nevada and over into Idaho. She was also very brave and courageous. I always loved spending the summers with her on the ranch. Sue Aiken’s reminds me so much of my friend.
Keep up the good work Sue. Love the show.

  11. If you see this, think you are an inspiration. Had a tough and very SWEET wife of 37 yrs. Am 59 yrs of age, also very tough life, BUT rewarding life. NOT sorry for a minute of it. Real men know that a man is a weak woman. Glad you are you! Sincerely Vernon

  12. I think this woman is amazing and there’s nothing that I would like to do more than to go and help her out, but I wouldn’t even know where to begin to try to do that her survival skills her determination and her grit are admirable

  13. Who cares about her shot!? How many people do you know could live like she does period!!! Insecure much, Albeit?

    1. David And Angeles Pena From Texas

My husband and I love this show because of you Sue ! We learn some much and we admire you ! ❤️

  14. Being a poor shot can sometimes be a variety of causes not related to the shooter. Sarah Palin was a great shot and one day she missed many shots within 300 yards. She took the rifle to the place she bought it and it was defective ha ha. Sue has true grit and she is a survivor and few men could do what she does up there in that harsh wilderness.
I would love to see her retire soon and move back to the lower world and live an easier life that she deserves. If it were not for her I would not have watched the show every year for the past seven years. Kudos Sue jim

  15. Albeit Incorrigible

she is not apparently a very good shot. 300 yard without any elevation changes or obstructions should be easily manageable. poor marksmanship has cost her many Ptarmigan, caribou, and respect. Honestly you were my favorite member of life below zero, but you shooting bothers me.
