Wiki Biography / Profile Background
Introduction :
Sabrina McGillivray is a Canadian elementary school teacher. Previously known for being married to Scott McGillivray — the host of the hit show Income Property — she has recently become recognised for starring alongside him on Moving the McGillivrays.
Personal Life, Parents and Family Details :
- Anna-Sabrina McGillivray (maiden name Sabrina Deacetis) was born on October 18, 1978, in Maple, Ontario.
- Born to parents, Lucy (mother, deceased) and Danny (father), she was named after her paternal grandma, Anna, while her younger brother, Carmen, was named after their paternal grandpa, Carmine.
- In 2009, Sabrina married Canadian real estate investor, home renovator and television personality, Scott McGillivray.
- The couple met on the beach while they were both on vacation; Scott asked her to join his volleyball game. Although she declined, they ran into each other again that night and — as he puts it — “it only took a moment to fall in love.”
- They live in Ontario with their two daughters, Layla Chloe McGillivray and Myah McGillivray.
Early Life and Education :
- A star in her own right, Sabrina was a talented dancer growing up.
- From the time she was 12-years-old, she trained with award-winning dance choreographer Anne Sprincis, eventually passing the Royal Academy of Dance exams.
- She later taught jazz and tap at Sprincis’ studio, Dansecore.
- After attending St. Joan of Arc Catholic High School, Sabrina went on to earn her Bachelor of Arts degree from York University in Toronto.
- She then travelled just across the border to Medaille College in Buffalo, New York, to earn a Bachelor of Science and Education degree.
Career, Job, Salary and Net Worth :
- Even after her husband shot to fame following the success of “Income Property,” Sabrina remained in her position as an elementary school teacher.
- Currently, working in the York Catholic School District in Ontario, it appears as though she mainly teaches third graders and is very good at her job.
- In 2006, her class was one of four to win a region-wide competition called the Healthy Lunch Challenge – they were chosen out of 214 competitor classes.
- In 2016, Sabrina joined her husband on-screen when they filmed “Moving the McGillivrays” — a 10-part docuseries following the family as they built their dream home.
- The couple bought a fixer-upper with an initial plan of renovating it but ended up having to tear it down and start from scratch when the issues proved to be too costly.
Fun Facts, Height and Trivia :

Very lovely; very hardworking beautiful family !
I think you’re the sweetest and most real wife I’ve seen on any of the home improvement shows! And I’ve watched them all! Scott is so handsome but way too young for me! I’m past 70 but love him anyway!
Love his show. Vacation House rules. She is gorgeous too.
