- During her time there, she began an online store and video series titled ‘Mary’s Finds.’ The idea behind it was to help people find unique homewares.
- After five years with Architectural Digest, she could not handle her homesickness anymore and moved back home to her parents.
- After working odd jobs for four months, she scraped enough money together to open a physical store for ‘Mary’s Finds.’

- Mary knew Storage Wars Texas favorite Moe Prigoff from having grown up down the road from his house. He began bringing his storage box findings to be sold to her store, and that was where she caught the attention of the A&E producers.
- They offered her a role on the show, and she agreed. Initially, she appeared as Moe’s sidekick; she eventually grew into her own as a storage auction hunter.
- She was offered a spot as a recurring guest for season five of Storage Wars Texas but was bumped up to full-time cast member by season six. As of 2017 and season 10 – she is still with the show.
