Pasutto was born on March 22, 1988, in Calgary, a city in Alberta, Canada, and was raised there by his parents.
Justin is also well-known as the fiancé of Jillian Harris, a former Bachelor Season 13 contestant and star of The Bachelorette Season 5.
He and his fiancé now live on Okanagan Lake. They have 2 young children – Baby Leo Pasutto (born in 2016) and younger daughter (born in September 2018) Annie. The family also has a dog named Nacho.

During high school, Pasutto played national level rugby and racing boardercross (snowboarding). He would travel in the summer for rugby and in the winter for snowboarding. When it got too hectic, he chose one and decided to pursue snowboarding since it was his dream to make it to the Olympics at that time.

He made it to the National program started his career travelling the world to Europe, North and South America. He eventually decided to retire from snowboarding after sustaining many injuries like cracked and broken ribs, a ruined shoulder, a dislocated index finger & six concussions!
Post this, Pasutto was bitten by the entrepreneurial bug & started up ‘Scrub Captain’, a detailing and apparel online store to help with his transition from snowboarding to his start of school. The store ended up becoming a hit, so he kept running the business while he finished school and moved in with his fiancé.
He finished school and started working for his father at his company – Innocept Real Estate and Development. He eventually became a Developer Representative and Project Manager.

Since then, Justin has joined his fiancé and has gone on to star in a new reality series with her titled Jillian and Justin.

Justin proposed to Jillian on Christmas morning, which was something she always wanted.

He is a big fan of country music.
Justin’s love for adventure took back over after being dormant for a long time. He eventually took up Overlanding, a form of vehicle-supported, self-reliant adventure travel, typically exploring remote locations and interacting with other cultures where the main form of lodging is usually outdoors/ camping.
Justin and his fiancé work closely with charities. The one that they work on the most is sleeping on the streets of East Side Vancouver all night with only a thin sleeping bag, and a piece of cardboard as a part of an event put on by Covenant House to raise awareness for youth homelessness

Pasutto is quite close to his fiancé’s family and even has coffee with her father together on some mornings.
