- Jon was born on 18th August 1979, at the age of thirteen he had an epiphany after an accident with a can of photographic spray glue getting in his eye. He realized that he was clumsy and should maybe focus on the moving image instead of something that needed mounting to cardboard backing.
- After graduating in 1999, he started working with a crew company, and gained valuable knowledge about lighting techniques, technical positioning, and use of a Steadicam. He has gained a reputation for being steady, reliable, creative, and being able to catch unique images. His relationship building has paid off, giving him a well-established group of owner-operators in a crew hub that all recommend him for his friendliness and creative solutions.
