  • Galante was born on March 31, 1988, in California. When he was still very young, he moved with his family to Harare, Zimbabwe.
  • Forrest’s passion for animals has probably stemmed from his mother, who was leading a safari business there in Africa.
  • He spent his childhood on a farm where he interacted daily with the livestock and lots of wild African animals. His interest in wildlife grew bigger and bigger as he started to explore the rich African fauna, learning how to handle snakes or trap and observe other small animals.

  • During his appearance on Naked and Afraid, Galante scored one of the highest PSR (primitive survival rating) that the program has ever recorded.
  • In his quest to find as many extinct species as possible, he traveled across no less than 45 countries.
  • Probably the most notable of his discoveries so far is the Fernandina Tortoise, which was considered extinct since 1906. Galante and his team saw it in Galapagos in February 2019 and documented the encounter.

Exactly right…the poor turtle got ripped a while away from its other turtles probably to make now what is probably just a science experiment, where people pay money to watch this animal be in prison…boo you suck and $5 million to go look for the Tasmanian so you can rip it out and clone it, so you can rip it out and put it in the cage. Take it home with you and get your accolades, no!

  2. Why didn’t he leave the turtle in the wild where it might find a mate and continue the species in the wild where it is thriving. Seems wrong to remove it form it’s natural habitat.
