- Charles Pol is a well-known American producer and actor. However, he is best known as the adopted son of Dutch-American veterinarian, and TV personality, Dr. Jan Pol. Currently, Charles is based in Los Angeles, California.

- Charles was born in Central Michigan on March 6, 1979. Dr. Jan and his wife Diane Pol adopted Charles along with his older biological sister, Kathy Pol, and the younger one, Diane Jr. He is quite close to his siblings.
- Charles has been a blessed person as far as his love life is concerned. He started dating his ‘best friend since childhood,’ Beth Oakes, in 2017. Both of them always viewed each other as just friends all through their teenage years. Beth and Charles made an appearance on The Incredible Dr. Pol’s Season 12 to confirm the relationship publicly. The lovebirds then announced their engagement on Twitter (now called X).
- A year later, in 2018, Beth and Charles got married in an elegant ceremony. They welcomed an adorable baby girl, Abigal Pol, in October 2019.
- While being interviewed by People magazine in October 2019, Charles shared his gratitude and excitement for the birth of his daughter, Abigal Pol. Charles and Beth also revealed that they chose their daughter’s moniker for its meaning (Abigal means “my father rejoices,”) and because of its Dutch influence.

- From the very beginning, Charles was fascinated by the charm of Hollywood. Although he grew up tending to his father’s farm and animals, he always wanted a career in entertainment and media.
- After graduating high school, Charles headed to Central Michigan University (CMU). Upon his graduation in 2001, he then went on to study Mass Communication and Media Studies at the University of Miami. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in 2003.

- Charles started his career as a Production Assistant at Nickelodeon in March 2005. In January 2006, he started working for Sony Pictures Entertainment as an Assistant. Working at Sony for 12 months, Pol availed the opportunity to build his resume.
- In March 2007, Charles started off as the Development Executive in Booya Studios based in the Greater LA area.
- In 2011, National Geographic Wild launched the TV reality series, The Incredible Dr Pol, and Charles was picked to produce the reality show based on his parents. Simultaneously, Charles appeared in the series frequently with Dr. Jan Pol.

Dr. Pol described Charles as having a “comic relief kind of personality.” He also credited Charles with bringing that personality to the show and making it funnier.
- In 2012, Charles became the center of a media circus controversy. One of his Halloween photos with his ex-girlfriend, Kelly, led to rumors of a possible affair. Since then, the picture has been taken down, and there is no record of any relationship other than the one he has with Beth Oakes.
- Besides his hectic work schedule, Charles loves to enjoy quality leisure time at home with his wife watching movies and TV series. His favorite movie and actor are Terminator and Arnold Schwarzenegger, respectively. Favourite TV series is, of course, The Incredible Dr Pol.
