Personal Life :

Pratibha Shinde (later Pawar) was born and brought up in Mumbai. Her family included her parents – Father Sadu Shinde (Sadashiv Shinde) was a cricketer and her mother’s name was Nirmala Rane.

Her father was working in plays and movies during his college time. Later, he also played 7 tests for the Indian team as a spin bowler. He also played for different Ranji Trophy teams (Maharashtra, Baroda, and Bombay) along with 79 First-Class matches.

Her father passed away at a young age of 32 due to typhoid, and thereafter her mother had to take care of her family which included 3 other sisters. Her mother Nirmala was born and raised in Baroda.
