Julia, I saw you get sick on TV that one day and right away I knew it was morning sickness.
During my wife’s first pregnancy, we were stationed at Langley AFB, VA. She was in bed with morning sickness for a week, before she was able to go to the hospital. That’s when we found out she was going to have a baby. The doctor recommended that we stop at the nearest soda shop (1965) era, and get some Coca Cola syrup. I stopped and got her a cup of straight Coke syrup. Within a few hours, she was able to keep food down and felt much better. When all of our kids were younger, we always kept a bottle of coke syrup in stock, in case they had any stomach problems. When we moved here from California to North Carolina, I tried to get some, but since everything is now on computers and not many people ask for it, no one carries it. If you don’t believe me, go online and read about it used for medicinal use.
