  1. Hi, Caitlin,

I’m wondering if you are at all related to Iris Rebecca Huey Cornelius. She and I met when we worked at the National security Agency in Ft Meade MD back in the late 1960s. We lose contact in 1969 when I left the Agency. She married Bill Cornelius.

Thank you. And you are doing a professional job as a journalist at CBS.

  2. Having spent 4years in the President’s executive office and 20 years in Dc around politics especially the budget process. I was greatly impressed by Ms Huey-Burns commentary during the Inauguration coverage for CBS news. kudos and respect.

  3. Caitlin is a very impressive young woman. I look forward to seeing her career flourish. I hope she’s able to stand up to the liberal media and be a strong reporter.

    1. ‘Liberal Media’? The best media reporting is people who are either squarely in the middle or slightly to left; a reporter who is right is less likely to dig underneath the headlines.

BTW love your work. I’ve gone back and watched the archives. I found you on CBSN, discussing the current Presidential situation of stimulus, Covid-19, and mail-in voting.

Do believe we may be distantly related. Huey is not a very common sir name. Going to handing this all over to my Aunt who is our family historian.
