I am a Pro-Life Democrat in California. Let’s start there. I am also Latino. I think the NY Times continues to miss the boat on the moderate voters. The Democrats have run too far Left. I cannot vote for the candidates anymore. Abortion on demand, really? Abortion tourism? The idea of faith seems to be continually missed by the Times. You all often get a reporter who is tangentially raised Catholic or Protestant or Evangelical, then have them speak for John Q public. I will not vote for Biden. My Party has abandoned me.
I also won’t hold my nose and vote for the other guy, but there can be no question that President Trump did not live the life of a Christian or a person of values, yet he made a huge impact in that regard (starting with the U.S. Supreme Court). I find myself writing about candidates more and more. Occasionally, I will vote Republican if the values align with mine. I care about safety in my community. I have 4 children. But my wife and I also foster a child, do volunteer work for pregnant moms, and care for the poor and vulnerable. I am against the Death Penalty. I am against “The Wall” and stupid immigration policies (which neither side has figured out). I am for the police. I am for workers’ rights and Unions.
By the way, I am also an attorney and I make more money than most. So tell me, which box do I fit in? And why would I vote for either of these guys (or a woman if that comes into play…Kamala Harris? Please. She has what experience to lead this country?). Anyhow, I find the bias and the generalizations to be mind-boggling and woefully inadequate. Your latest Run-Up podcast did not distinguish itself. Please, get it right.

Really folks?? Really?? You have a choice to take it or leave it. If you do not like what he is reporting the so be it. No one is pointing a gun at your head and making you read his work. Let’s be better than that, please. Can do that?
