Former journalist for Politico & White House Correspondent for The Hill, Amie Parnes has been at the centre of political journalism for over a decade. Her career has taken her on exciting journeys alongside some the of USA’s most prominent politicians.

This was not Amie & Jonathan’s first book together, in February 2014 they published “HRC: State Secrets and the Rebirth of Hillary Clinton.”
The book describes Hillary Clinton’s career and achievements as the Secretary of State, relationship with Obama & her role in his presidential cabinet, as well as her defeat in the primaries.
HRC also became a NY Times Bestseller and received praise from the L.A. Times, The Washington Post and Toronto Star.

Amie tries to add a ‘whimsical touch’ or statement item to her usually smart White House wardrobe.
She told Washingtonian that many of her clothes come from Kate Spade or Trina Turk Dresses, while her casual wear includes Lululemon hoodies, capris, jeans, and printed pants.

In February 2012, Amie was one among a number of female White House reporters, who were criticized in by FishbowlDC, a political gossip website, for having slightly provocative photos on their Twitter (now called X) accounts.
Amie had posted her profile picture as a black & white close up of her face, framed by loose hair as she gazes over her shoulder.

Amie, I am very disappointed that you co-wrote the book about Biden barely winning the election! What a way to boost a President’s morale & confidence! After what we’ve been through in the last 4yrs, it’s such a blessing to have someone like Biden in our White House! I’m sad for him that this book is out there. I think it’s shameful!
