    1. Shefali Vaidya is not from Goa although she grew up in Cuncolim. (Cuncolim is a Christian village.) Her family is part of the immigrant votebank imported from Maharashtra by Maharashtawadi Gomantak Party during the 1960s. Hence her settling in Pune is a classic case of “Return to Sender”. Since her lies about the Goa Inquisition and forced conversions got exposed recently by the Inquisition records themselves as well as by other contemporary sources of that time period, Niz Goenkars don’t want her back. I’d appreciate it very much if the institutes from which she got her post-graduate diplomas are also included in her biography, she keeps doubling down on her narrative and so those institutions are clearly places for serious scholars to avoid.
