Randy Fenoli is an American fashion designer and stylist, as well as a TV personality. He is also one of the most known faces on TLC’s hit show Say Yes to the Dress.

  • Randy Fenoli was born on January 30, 1964, in Mount Vernon, Illinois. He is the youngest of seven siblings. Two of Randy’s siblings passed away at the age of 26.
  • Growing up on a cattle farm, Randy had a difficult childhood, especially as he had an abusive father.
  • Randy’s mother got a sewing machine when he was nine years old. Despite being told to stay away from the sewing machine, Randy took advantage of his mother being busy and made a dress for her. It was his very first creation.
  • He attended the Winnfield Senior High School in Winnfield, Louisiana.
  • Randy is a graduate of the highly prestigious Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City.

  • The week after he graduated from the Fashion Institute of Technology, Randy was offered a job by Paul Diamond and his wife Vivian Diamond. He spent the 1990s creating bridal wear for the Diamond Collection. In 1993, Randy released his first wedding dress collection which received two awards for Design Excellence in the Bridal Industry.
  • After a very successful designing stint, Randy decided to take a break from the industry and moved down to New Orleans where he sold real estate.
  • In 2005, in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina, Randy decided he wanted to return to New York City.
  • In 2007, Kleinfeld’s Bridal offered Randy a position as their new fashion director. He worked as Kleinfeld’s fashion director until 2012 and frequently appeared on the TLC show Say Yes to the Dress while in that role.
  • Since 2012, Randy has been working as an independent contractor. He continues to appear on Say Yes to the Dress but also has his own spin-off shows, Randy to the Rescue, Randy Knows Best, and Big Bliss.

    The one thing I would like to see is someone gets brave and puts on a few BBW designer dresses in their runways. It’s like the store body shames the heavy ladies. I have seen a few bigger brides but the gowns were not nice at all.
    Why does Kleinfeld discriminate like that?
