Lisa Bevere was born on June 6, 1960.
She has one brother, Joseph Toscano.
At five years old, Lisa was diagnosed with retinoblastoma, a rare form of cancer that affects eye tissue. Due to this, she had to have her eye removed and has used a glass eye ever since. Lisa had to continue getting checked every six months until she was eighteen to ensure the cancer hadn’t returned.

When Lisa was twelve, her parents divorced, only to remarry two years late and then divorce again years later.
At the age of twenty-one, while studying at the University of Arizona and getting into sororities, Lisa was at a very low point in her life due to a prevalent eating disorder and a toxic personal relationship.

Marriage and Children :

Lisa spent the summer at home in Indiana, and upon returning to Arizona was soon invited to a Bible study picnic by the man who would become her husband, John Bevere.
On this first date, Lisa heard the Word of God and was immensely drawn to it.
She then read the Bible and became even more passionate about spreading the word herself.

When she was twenty-two, Lisa married John. The couple went on to have four sons: Arden Christopher Bevere, Joshua Alexander Bevere, Addison David Bevere, and Austin Michael Bevere.

Lisa entered the ministry at the young age of 21 with her future husband, John Bevere.
