Hi Jennifer My name is Tony Patton a navy disable vet. I listen to your show on Saturday morning;s, Today’s show with the vet’s and the congressman was informative but it did not address the problem of the older vet’s the ones who are turning 50 to 60.As vet’s we were never told how long we had to use our benefit’s or even told we had them. We are just getting by on what they pay us each month and there is no raise in sight. After our injury’s caught up to us later in life we have nothing. I’m still young enough to train for another job but they don’t want to pay for it. All we ask for is a chance but they make us jump through hoop’s to get started. I know you may get a lot of this and I don’t expect you to change policy in washington im just letting you know don’t believe the thing’s they tell you. I’m trying to move and buy a house for myself and I can’t even afford to move let alone buy a house, and when your spending all your money on rent gas light car insurance food and just every day living, your credit card’s stay allmost maxed out your credit suffer’s and your allway’s playing catch up. We don’t have a chance. Thank you for being there for the younger guy’s.
