- Holly Furtick (maiden name Holly Boitnott) was born on May 19, 1980. She is the daughter of a Baptist pastor, Murrill Boitnott.
- While growing up, Holly stayed with her parents and one sister, Emily, in South Florida.
- She attended the North Greenville University (NGU), in Tigerville, South Carolina, graduating with a Bachelor of Arts degree in education.
- While attending NGU, Holly met the man who would later become her husband, Steven Furtick.
- The couple got married on June 3rd, 2002, when they were both only 22 years old.
- The two moved from Shelby, North Carolina, to Charlotte, North Carolina, where they still reside. Holly and Steven built a house in Waxham, a suburb in Charlotte, NC.
