- Academy Award and Golden Globe Award winner Christoph Waltz appeared on ‘The Late Late Night Show’ and was completely infatuated with Hagar. The second time Waltz was invited to the show, and the audience cheered him in, he walked past James Corden and made his way to the band stage to kiss Hagar’s hand and then only went on to the main stage to join Corden and the other guests.
- James Corden informed Waltz that ‘someone told me you only came back on the show, not to see me or do the show but only to see Hagar again,’ to which Waltz replied: “Yes, this is not a secret!”

I hear you are writing a book to inspire young Women to play bass maybe. Well hell yeah. I am self-taught and was lucky enough to find a book by Carol Kaye in the mid seventies. Of course you have to be able to read music. Maybe I’ll find the name of the book but CK was a legend in her own right. However, once I learned Carol’s style of playing, I was able to slip into all styles.
My only claim to fame is Tina Weymouth saying to me. “You are a great bass player” Got to do a Beatles medley with Elton That was awesome totally off the cuff.

I’ve been watching you since the beginning of The Late Late Show and I really like the latest scenario getting James out of his garage studio. I love the fact that you play the BASS on the show. The bass is my favorite instrument and you are the best at playing the bass. I’ve read that you are about 39-40 years old. And of course, you are very attractive with a great sense of humor. You are in a great place with the show and I know that you enjoy it a lot.
As an FYI, I went to grade school with Bruce Springsteen in Freehold, NJ. He was a year ahead of me in school and just turned 71 years old this past September. I saw Bruce a lot and he is a great deep fellow. I’m happy about his success and cannot wait for his next concert. I would like to meet you someday at the show once we are done with the pandemic.
