Chris Keefer is a hunter and survivalist who has appeared in several shows such as Dropped and The Code of the Wild along with his brother Casey Keefer. The brothers use their survival skills to explore perilous places in the wilderness.

- Chris’s skills are said to be derived from their father and grandfather, who were also into hunting.

- Chris has a long history on television. He and his brother Casey appeared in the show Dropped on the Outdoor Channel. It aired for seven seasons. The program was about survival experts being “dropped” into difficult conditions with little resources for survival. In an interview in 2016, the brothers said that they do not know ahead of time where they will be dropped & that they try not to involve themselves in the production.
- Chris and Casey also appears in the show Code of the Wild. The program is about the brothers’ attempts to solve big historical mysteries in locations that are not accessible to the average person. To get to such locations alive, one needs to have a lot of survival skills. The program navigates through uncharted territory and rugged terrains, deep caves, and dense forests.
- Chris’s brother Casey loves history and likes to use his survival skills to find evidence for unexplained mysteries of history. Chris, on the other hand, loves technology. And he uses that to get to the bottom of these mysteries.
- Some of Casey and Chris’s adventures include going deep into the Amazon forests to find a city of gold. Or going into the heart of Alaska to search for the remains of the airplane that disappeared along with US House Representative Hale Boggs and Nick Begich. Or hiking into the Appalachian Mountains to look for the lost Confederate treasure.
- Besides their work on TV, the Keefer brothers have also co-founded a firm BeAlive Media. In the past, they have also worked as professional hunting guides.

- Chris likes to go to the gym a lot. He also likes to wake up early and keep his trademark beard trimmed and neat.
- He considers himself an adrenaline junkie (no surprise!).
- Chris nearly lost his life in a car accident. This gave him a new appreciation for life and serves him as a reminder that he must live each day to the fullest and explore the wonders of the world.
- When he is not hunting and exploring the wilderness, Chris enjoys playing golf back home in Michigan.
- Casey and Chris are big supports for women in their tough profession. On his Instagram page, Chris has highlighted three female hunters and wrote that it’s awesome to see strong women who pave the way in the industry!
- From 2009 to 2019, he had a massive weight loss. He went from 240 pounds (109 kg) to 185 pounds (84 kg).
