Chris Dailey is an American college women’s basketball coach. She has served as an assistant coach at the University of Connecticut (UConn) since 1985. In March 2021, after head coach Geno Auriemma had to quarantine for 10 days due to a COVID-19 infection, Chris took over head coach duties for the team’s first-round NCAA game.

- After attending St. Peter’s High School, Dailey went to Rutgers University to earn a degree in health and physical education. On the basketball team from 1978-1982 and serving as the team captain in her final two years, she helped them win the 1982 AIAW Division 1 national championship.

- In Nov 2022, Chris fainted before the start of the No. 5 Huskies’ game against 10th-ranked North Carolina State. She was attended to by medical personnel for a few minutes before being taken to a hospital on a stretcher. However, UConn coach Geno Auriemma assured everyone after the game that she is okay and that there was nothing serious or threatening.
