Cassandra had an intense passion for sports, especially golf, since her childhood. Although she had played in local competitions for a long time, she decided to turn pro and pursue golf professionally at 18 (2008).

As per Wisconsin Golf, Cassandra was recruited out of high school with strong recommendations. She had been offered fully funded scholarships from Georgia, Florida, Arizona, and Central Florida.

Having played golf most of her life, Cassandra formally began her career in 1999 at the age of 9. In pursuit of self-improvement, she was always keen on entering national competitions while playing junior golf. She went head to head with the number one champion in a long drive in her second-ever competition.

While being a member of the Junior Ryder Cup Team, Cassandra and her partner, Tony Finau, won the final match against Europeans back in 2006.
Meyer decided to turn pro in golf at 18 years old in 2008 and gained valuable experience while spending quality time with Symetra Tour.
