Dr. Shree Balaji Tambe is a renowned Ayurvedic doctor, engineer, yoga and spiritual guru from Maharashtra. He started the Santulan Om Meditation Santulan Kriya Yoga techniques and founded the Atmasantulana Village, a world-renowned holistic healing center at Karla, near Lonavala in India.
His father Ved Shastra Sampanna Shri Vasudev Tambe Shastri was a Vedic Sciences scholar and introduced him to the world of Ayurveda.
Some of his other works include written over 20 books on spirituality, Yoga & Ayurveda. He also has worked on more than 25 healing music albums and concerts. One of his most famous albums is the Ayurvediya GarbhSanskar : गर्भसंस्कार, which has sold over 750,000 copies.
His pharmacy company is a major exporter of Ayurvedic medicines and healing techniques to Europe and other western countries. He also is on the Board of Directors of the Saam Group, which prints Sakaal – A popular newspaper in Maharashtra. The daily TV show on interpretation of Bhagvad Geeta and weekly show on Ayurvedic Health has got a good following.
