Trina has a BA degree in Sociology and a Divinity Honorary Doctorate. She works as the Family Life Ministries Department Director at the family church and manages more than 30 ministries that help families across Maryland.

Pastor Jenkins took this as a calling to leave Virginia and move back to Maryland. One year after Johnson’s death, Jenkins and his family relocated to Maryland and joined the First Baptist Church of Glenarden.
