I am so thankful for Godly men like Charles Stanley and Anthony George!
The bible says a pastor should be the husband of one wife. If not married does that make him disqualified?
I think Dr George is called by God. He seems quite humble and compassionate. God makes no mistake. I pray FBA members will continue to give him their full support as God elevates him to a higher calling. God knew when He would have called Dr Stanley home so He prepared a successor, Dr Anthony George.
That could not have been easy for Dr George but continue to trust God and leave all the consequences to Him, as Dr Stanley said. God Bless you Dr George and keep up the good work.
I have thoroughly enjoyed listening to Dr. Anthony George. I believe he has a lot of wisdom and discernment, as well as being very informative of the Word of God. I believe he learned some things from Dr. Stanley, but others he has learned along in life. May God continue to bless the ministry that he has at FBA.
Will Pastor George not get married ever?
Was Paul in the New Testament married? The LORD is ordering his footsteps. If it is God’s will to marry, the LORD will show him his wife.
How can we know the Bible is indeed the inerrant word of God? Don’t tell me the Bible says so. I know I believe it but all of us believe a lot that doubtless is not true Tell me how we KNOW and not what we believe. I have studied and read the Bible for 75 years.
God inspired mento write the Bible as stated in psalm
68:11 stated, “The Lord gave the word: great was the company of those that published it.”
