- Pastor Deola Phillips revealed her salvation testimony in a Facebook post (October 30, 2017) at Read Rhapsody of Realities. In her own words, she surrendered her life to Christ on March 15, 1985, at the International School Ibadan. She recalled standing just at the gate of the girl’s dorm where she had resided as a boarding student, knowing that something had happened and that her life would never be the same again. Presently, she is serving God in ministry, introducing others to Jesus.
- According to City People Magazine, Reverend Deola once donated 50 automobiles to her colleague pastors and church staff. Another time, an act of charity performed by her went viral on social media, and many people praised the pastor for her thoughtful gesture. A woman with a big heart, giving comes easily to her.
- At the IPPC of 2018, Pastor Deola was awarded the most notable award of the Christ Embassy ministry – the award for the Top Partnering Zone. The renowned award is distributed annually and is known as one of the most prestigious prizes at the global convention. It is given to the partner who exhibits the utmost commitment and dedication to the ministry’s cause. Of the many Christ Embassy partners, only ten were specially recognized as ‘Gold Partners’.
