Shelley was born in Springfield, Oregon but her family moved around a lot, during her childhood. Eventually, they laid their roots down in Colville, Washington.
Bryan Wee has previously been romantically linked to travel explorer/television presenter named Rick Steves but chooses to be private about the details of their relationship. The two have been photographed walking with their pet dogs, Labradoodles named Gracie and Jackson.

The relationship between Rick and Shelley is fairly new. Despite starting dating in December 2019, Steves and Wee are learning more about each other thanks to the Coronavirus pandemic.

In 1988, Shelley graduated from Pacific Lutheran University in Tacoma, Washington State with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Public Relations and Communications Arts.
She also graduated from the same university with a Minor in Marketing and Business Administration.

Shortly after leaving Pacific Lutheran, Shelley attended the Luther Northwestern Theological Seminary and graduated with a Master of Divinity Degree in Theology and Bible Studies in 1993.

Church Work, Earnings and Net Worth :

After graduating from Luther Northwestern, Shelley was ordained by the American Evangelical Lutheran Church into the Word and Sacrament Ministry.

After being ordained, Wee joined the Jocko Valley Lutheran Church in August of 1993 and began working as a full-time Pastor. She worked at the Montana-based church for almost 4 years before leaving in May of 1997.
One month after leaving Montana, Shelley relocated to Spokane, Washington where she became the Lead Pastor for the Zion Lutheran Church. She held that position for almost a decade before moving to Deer Park where she became a Marketing Specialist for State Farm for the next 7+ years.
In January of 2015, Bryan Wee moved to Cheney and became the Pastor of the Emmanuel Lutheran Church for a little over 2 years.

Shortly after, she pastored at the Lutheran Campus Ministry at Eastern Washington University.
After over a decade of pastoring in different churches, Shelley landed her current job in Greater Seattle as Assistant to the Bishop of the American Evangelical Lutheran Church.
