An actor, model, dancer, and stylist, Michelle Rotella was the Chief Meteorologist for many networks like – WNEP in Scranton, PA; WTXL in Tallahassee, FL; WCCB in Charlotte, N.C.; and WTTG in Washington. In March 2021, she joined the AccuWeather Network team as a senior broadcast meteorologist.

- In 2004, Michelle joined the Frederick Community College. She studied Arts and Sciences and was involved as writer/reporter for school newspaper ‘Cougar’s Claw.’ Her term ended in the year 2006, in the midst of which she interned at ‘The Gazette’ in Frederick, Maryland.
- After college, she attended Florida State University for three years, where she pursued Bachelor of Science in Meteorology with Maths and Physics as her minor subjects.
- Her activities included being involved in a live broadcast for FSU weather Channel 4, anchoring live shows, structuring evening shows, producing show graphics, etc. She was also in charge of managing control room settings.

- Michelle started her professional career in September 2011 as a Weekend Meteorologist and Weekday reporter at WNEP-TV. She was in charge of gathering model data & forecast weather for 22 countries in the world!
- At WNEP, she produced weather shows, broadcasted Friday morning shows (7-9 PM), conduct interviews and maintained fanpage of the channel on Facebook.
- In September 2013, she switched to WTXL-TV, an ABC 27 affiliate in Florida for a period of 1 year. She worked as Sunrise and Noon meteorologist.
- In late December 2014, she joined Herald Mail Media in Hagerstown, Maryland, as its Chief Meteorologist for a period of 11 months.
- After that, she did a stint in a reality TV show, in the midst of which she joined WCCB-TV in Charlotte as a Meteorologist.
- In March 2021, she joined the AccuWeather Network team as a senior broadcast meteorologist.

- Michelle was a contestant on America’s Next Weathermen, presented by “Funny or Die” on TBS Network. She competed in all eight episodes of the show, which pitted 12 contestants through varied challenges to compete for the job of America’s next great weathercaster!
- She is trained in different dancing genres, including Breakdance, Contemporary, and Hip Hop. Rotella has also worked as a model for a commercial.

- Despite her busy schedule, she finds time to give back to the community. In Dec2016 she volunteered for one month for the “Safe Alliance Holiday Store” event in Charlotte, North Carolina. She helped prepare and serve meals to families at the Myers Park United Methodist Church. The event was mainly aimed at providing winter holiday gifts for adult and child clients.

Michelle seriously needs to learn how to dress! Her thigh saddlebags are accentuated by her too-tight skirts. Once, she wore a nice a-line dress and she looked really nice. The next evening, she was back to her “show the curves” look and it was not pretty. Does she bill herself as a stylist? I find that hard to believe.
