Introduction :
Young Daiana or Dai Hernandez, is an Argentinian YouTube star who rose to popularity with her YouTube channel named after herself, in which she posts funny and comedic videos, daily life vlogs and parodies largely in Spanish.
Rise to fame :
- Dai’s videos mostly feature herself and sometimes her parents. After starting in Feb. 2008, the channel has become hugely popular with the Spanish-speaking teenage population. Currently, she has over 3 million subscribers on YouTube.
- Diana releases one or two videos every week and has more than 200 videos on her channel.
- She also has a huge following on her other social media profiles such as Instagram, Twitter (now called X) and Facebook. Her fans have christened themselves as ‘Dianists.’
- She released her book ‘La comedia de mi vida’ (English: The comedy of my life) in Oct. 2015, which as comedic episodes from her childhood in the form of black and white pictures.
- Daiana’s YouTube channel is named after herself. Though she created her channel in February 2008, she posted her first video ‘TÍPICOS en el COLEGIO’ (English: Typical in the School/College) on October 28, 2012. She herself features in her videos, sometimes with her parents and has become really popular among the Spanish speaking youngsters
Collobaration with Other Personalities :
Ms. Daiana, who describes herself as a YouTuber/ Actress/ Comedian, has also collaborated with other fellow YouTubers like Los Polinesios, Katy Esquivel (WhatTheChic), Ryan Hoffman (DebRyanShow), Mica Suárez among others.
She interviewed the then First Lady of USA, Michelle Obama at a conference for the ‘Let Girls Learn’ program at the Metropolitan Design Center in March 2016.

- Dai has a cat named Ruchi.
- She is not the biggest fan of Whatsapp calls.
- On March 23rd 2016, he had a meeting with one her idols – the former First Lady of the United States; Michelle Obama.
