Personal Life :
Born in 1976, she is happily married to TV actor Manav Gohil. after eight years of marriage, they had one daughter named Zahra Tabeetha born to them on 11th May 2012. The couple was part of Nach Baliye season 2 where Saroj Khan awarded the title of the best dancer to Manav.
Their love story is no less than a romantic movie. They met on the sets of Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii and became best friends by the time of the show, Kkusum. Manav started liking her more which created awkwardness and like a typical movie, they stopped talking to each other. But as fate had it, they end up together. There was no official declaration. They dated for 3 and half years before tying the knot on December 26, 2004. Unfortunately, the couple had their share of controversies, one of them being the SMS scam.
In October 2006, they were under the scrutiny of cybercrime cell for buying 200 SIM cards from a BPL mobile dealer and distributing them among their friends. They did this in the wish to get votes for Nach Baliye. The cyber cell came across this during their investigation of lewd messages sent to a woman. The messages came overnight with 3 different numbers. But the couple has remained strong despite the controversies.
She is devoted to Buddhism and is a member of Soka Gakkai group.
