Profile :
Social media has become a great platform for stalking, criticising and has turned into a hub of negativity.
But for this one girl, the social site Facebook proves to be a big boon. A simple profile picture on her Facebook attracted two prolific directors and led them to cast her.
Aishwarya Devan has captured our hearts through her performances in many south Indian films mainly from the Malayalam and Tamil Film industry. She is popular for her roles in movies Chennaiyil Oru Naal and Anegan.
Personal Life :
Born in Karnataka, Banglore in 1993, Aishwarya did her schooling from Kendriya Vidyalaya NAL. After completing 12th class, Gautam Patnaik and Deepan introduced her to the world of fame, but the limelight at such a young age didn’t lead her to ignore her studies, and she studied English literature through correspondence.
In both Yuvan and Simhasanam, she played the role of an undergraduate. It was easy to do as at the same time, and she was going through a similar experience in her real life. Since her childhood, her favorite actors have been Mohanlal and Shobana whose movies Kilukkam and Manichitrathazhu she admires. Although she had a dream of becoming an actor, she never thought it would become a reality as she has no connection with the film industry whatsoever. She planned to settle with her other backup ambitions of modeling or fashion designing. But of course, fate had other plans for her.
She often gets compliments for her lithe figure. Her secret is a strict diet and exercise regime. As for her own roles, her favorite is Karma Yodha as she got to work with Mohanlal. The whole experience was surreal for her, and evidently, she couldn’t stop gushing about his acting skills. She prefers profundity to screen time. As long as her role is important, she won’t mind being there even for just one minute. If this doesn’t make you hire a photographer, then nothing will.
Career and Professional Life :
Aishwarya’s resplendent looks and natural grace made directors Gautam Patnaik and Deepan took an interest in her. Gautam went on to cast her in his film Yuvan / Keratam while Deepan took her to meet another popular director Shaji Kailas whose movie Simhasanam was her first Malayalam movie. But her movie debut happened through 2011 Telugu film Keratam.
Bagging roles with such good directors, in the beginning, helped her to grab many more eyeballs. After Simhasanam, her charm took her to Tollywood as well where she worked in Bala’s The Hit List and Major Ravi’s Karmayodha. She then worked in the Tamil remake of Malayalam hit movie Traffic or Chennaiyil Oru Naal playing the role of Jennifer Mary Tony.
In 2013, she gained two roles in Mollywood, one in V.K. Prakash’s Thank You where she played the role of a senior journalist who is bold, courageous, and other in Senthil Kumar’s Red Carpet where she played an actor. In 2015, she was busy shooting movies such as Tamil movie Kandupidi Kandupidi directed by Ramsubbaraman and Kannada movies Ayya 2 and Shankara.
