Dani was born in San Clemente in Southern California. She grew up in that region and considers it home.
From 2009 to 2013, she attended the University of Southern California (USC) and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Digital Journalism and Broadcast.

While studying at the university, she was part of the school TV station.
Dani is a practicing Christian & occasionally shares messages of Jesus and God on her social media. She is also very close to her mother and referred to her as her best friend and a hero in an emotional Facebook message.

Dani began her career working for Annenberg TV News in the Greater Los Angeles Area as an Assignment Desk Editor. She also worked as an Audio Operator & later became the Multimedia Video Journalist and Sports Multimedia Video Journalist.
In June 2011, Dani joined the team at NBC San Diego as an Assignment Desk Intern. She spent a few months working for NBC San Diego before moving to Trojan Vision Television where she worked as a host for the Daily Scene show.
Trojan Vision Television is based at Ruberti’s alma mater, University of California. During her time there, she spent time discussing community issues on campus and conducting interviews with various accomplished students and members of faculty every week.

She returned to Annenberg TV News in early 2012 and worked as a reporter for some months. Here, she wrote, filmed and edited her own weekly packages. She also provided viewers regular updates via social media.
At Annenberg TV News team, Dani also worked as a weather anchor and manned her owned weekly series titled, Critter Corner, which she produced.
From Jun to Aug 2012, Ruberti moved to Santa Monica and joined Viacom. There, she worked as an intern for the MTV News and Docs.

In August 2012, Ruberti became a news anchor for Annenberg TV News and spent some months presenting local, national and international news bulletins. She also helped out producers with various interviews and videos, which were shot all around Los Angeles.

Ruberti joined WVLT Local 8 News in July 2015 as a weather anchor.
After three years in Tennessee, Dani joined the KUSI team in San Diego, in May 2018. Here, she worked as a weather anchor.
Since the last few years, Dani is employed as a traffic anchor and midday weather anchor at FOX13 in Salt Lake City, Utah.
