- They have four daughters, the eldest daughter Adria Hight is John’s daughter from his first marriage. Adria has served as the CFO of John Force Racing, Inc since October 1988.

- Laurie’s husband, John Force is a 16-time Funny Car champion driver & a 20-time champion car owner. He is known to be one of the most dominant drag racers in the sport, with a career victory of 149 races. His company John Force Racing is a multimillion-dollar business with over 100 employees and a 180,000-square-foot shop in Brownsburg, Indiana.
- His daughter Ashley Force Hood, born on November 29, 1982, was also formerly a Top Fuel Funny Car drag racer for his company John Force Racing. But she has quit racing to raise her children with her husband Daniel Hood.
- His other daughter, Brittany Leighton Force, was born on July 8, 1986, and is an NHRA drag racer too. She was the 2017 ‘NHRA Drag Racing Series Top Fuel’ dragster champion.

- John Force, as funny and endearing as ever, was an unemployed truck driver when he started chasing the young Laurie. Laurie belonged to a very stable family and was the daughter of a Ford Motor Company executive!
- She has won the Pat Garlits Memorial Award in 2016, given to a woman for extraordinary contributions to drag race.
- As a mother, Laurie was pretty hands-on about bringing up her three daughters. She would be at all their school events, and now that everybody in the family does drag racing, she is their biggest supporter, being at the starting line, tracking point standings, lane choices, and their variables, and giving the family of drivers an earful when they want to sound out.
- Laurie has played a huge role in the initial phases of the family business when she used to take on numerous tasks – everything from backing up the car on the starting line, mixing fuel, or even writing up contracts for bringing in sponsors.
