A native of Mexico, Laura is the youngest amongst five children.
She moved to her older sister’s (Marcella) house in London in 1999. Marcella’s estranged husband had fled the country four years earlier, taking his daughter with him.
During these difficult times for her, Laura met Jeremy Corbyn. He helped her get back Jasmin, her niece.
