Introduction :
- Jessiann Gravel Beland is a Canadian model and celebrity. She is married to a famous Brazilian model, Francisco Lachowski, who is considered one of the Top 50 Male Models in the world.
- Born in Mont-Saint-Hilaire, Montreal, on 19th May 1988, Beland is a successful international model with representation in major fashion capitals like Milan, Paris and New York.
- She has worked on campaigns for brand such as Armani Exchange, Lady Dutch and Abercrombie & Fitch and has appeared on the covers for magzines such as Flare and Elle.
- Her husband Francisco Lachowski is two years her junior. They got together in 2011, were married two years later and now have two sons, Milo and Laslo.
- The couple is extremely photogenic & have worked on a number of campaigns together, often posing as husband and wife.

- Francisco and Jessiann met in a bar in Japan while shooting a campaign. Jessiann saw Lachowski walk into the set and was left wondering “Who’s that guy?”
- Lachowski was the one to make the first move, asking about the tattoo behind her ear. She made the move later on in a club and two soon became inseparable.
- When asked what attracted them initially, Beland said it was Francisco’s good looks. She said he had a really special look which matured into a more approachable one as he got older.
- On the other hand, Francisco liked her attitude and Jessiann’s strong, independent personality. She loves that Lachowski makes her coffee every morning, but admitted it was because she herself makes horrible coffee. However, she is a good cook, as attested by her husband.

- Despite their picture-perfect life, they admitted they argue and fight like any other couples. Jessiann admits that they have their own problems and issues but they are committed as a couple to stay together.
- When she married Lachowski, she received so much vitriol from his fans. It was a difficult moment to move from being adored as a model to receiving death threats for marrying one but Beland has learnt to overcome this.

The Story of their Son…Milo
- Jessiann became pregnant at 24 and for a moment, thought it was the end of her modelling career. After some advice from her agent, she came into terms that her modelling days are not over.
- Soon, she was photographed in black swimwear with Elle Quebec in 2013 while heavily pregnant.
- At the time, she and Lachowski were living in Paris. She thought she was having a girl and while sightseeing in the Louvre, Jessiann chanced upon the status of Venus de Milo. She thought Milo was a beautiful name for a girl.
- They then found out that they are having a boy and also that Milo is actually a boy’s name! They tried to look for other names but still came back to Milo.
- The couple mentioned in an interview that both of them do not intend for Milo to follow their modelling footsteps but will fully support him if that was his choice when he’s older.
