Dear Mr. Carl Thomas Dean,
I imagine people must send you requests for financial help all the time. But I’m going to make a last hope attempt to ask for help. I’m 66 years old and my husband Gerald is the same. We’ve been married going on 47 years this September. We have two children Jennifer and Jeffrey. We have two beautiful grand daughters Rebecca and Danielle. Also a wonderful son in law Joe. We live in Crown Point Indiana, a beautiful little town. We lost our business three years ago, and only by the grace of God did we end up with social security and a maint. Job with the Indiana State Police. We lost everything but our home ( and it has two liens on it ) my husband suffered two heart attacks in a row but God saved him. We have all our lives worked very hard ( with the restaurant 6-7 days a week 12-14 hour days ) plus every weekend and holidays. We’ve done that for 40 years. We’ve only been on 2 vacations ever and then we knew we couldn’t afford to go anywhere good because we could not afford it. I lost my sister, mother, aunt Betty and my brother Donnie all within 1 1/2 years. It’s been unreal. We couldn’t afford our food costs and bills after Obama got office and slowly but surely our business dropped. Everything gone. I was hoping you or Dolly could help out some. We just received a notice we could lose our home. That and my health and husband is all that’s left. Sounds selfish but I’m so tired of never no let up I could drop. Battleing depression has been a real battle. We were always the ones to give, and always pay, I had to sell my wedding rings to make payroll. I guess I just want someone to help us for once, just some security and peace of mind somehow. I apologize to you sir this is embarrassing and you probably think I’m a scammer. Truth is I am tired, scared all the time about losing my home and seeing the hopeless look on my husbands face knowing we can’t pull this off this time.not knowing where your going to lay your head is down right scared.
