- Caleb Followill was born in Mount Juliet, Tennessee, to parents Betty Ann and Ivan Leon Followill.
- Caleb and his brothers were brought up in a Christian upbringing. In their youth, the siblings spent most of their time playing the drums while their dad, who is a pastor, preached at churches in the Deep South & in Oklahoma.
- On May 12th, 2011, Caleb tied the knot with Lily Aldridge in a colorful wedding graced by close friends and family. The couple now has one kid, a daughter named Dixie Pearl Followill.
- Lily Aldridge is a supermodel, having modeled for labels such as Abercrombie and Fitch. She has been a Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Covergirl & was also on the cover of Spanish Vogue in August 2003.

- Kings of Leon was established in the year 1999 in Nashville, Tennessee, & comprises of the Followill brothers – Caleb, Nathan and Jared and their cousin Matthew.. Currently, Caleb is the lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist.

- Caleb loved cooking ever since he was young. He even contemplated being a chef at one time. He cooks most of their home meals, while wife Lily is also learning how to cook.
- He has many chef friends like Chef Tim Love of Texas, who taught him different recipes. Caleb prides himself in the burgers he cooks & says they are the best burgers anyone can find in Nashville.
- Followill has been battling alcoholism for a long time. In 2011 after a scrapped tour, he went to rehab.
