- She earned her undergraduate degree at California State University, Northridge majoring in Broadcast Journalism. She is at presently enrolled in the Broadcast and Operational Meteorology Program from Mississippi State University.

Dear Mz. Ruffalo, I enjoy having coffee with you in the morning. My question is why is there never a report about the impact rain has on all of these horrible fires that are burning in Southern California and Northern California? Are we to assume that they are extinguished? NOT GOOD ENOUGH!
All news stations report the fires and the damage they cause but NO ONE reports when we defeat this natural enemy. How long does it take to put the fire out when Mother Nature kicks in to help us?
