Introduction :
Most people recognize Anshula Kapoor as the younger sister of the well-known hunk of Bollywood, Arjun Kapoor. Few know that she has a unique identity of her own, due to her enviable educational background and professional achievements.
Personal Life, Parents and Family Details :
- Anshula is the daughter of parents – Boney Kapoor and Mona Shourie Kapoor.
- Her father is a famous producer of Bollywood films.
- Her mother was a housewife, who died on March 25, 2012. Anshula’s brother Arjun is also a big Bollywood star.
- When she was just a child, her father had a relationship with Bollywood actress, Sridevi, and later married her.
- Arjun & Anshula have two half sisters Jahanvi Kapoor & Khushi Kapoor.
Education : Qualifications, High School & College Info
- Anshula studied at the prestigious Ecole Mondiale World School in Juhu, Mumbai, from 2004 to 2008.
- Anshula received Certificates of Merit for Academic Excellence, for three years in a row – 2005, 2006, and 2007!
- She also received a Community Service Award the same year.
- She outclassed everyone in the fields of Geography, English Language & Literature (Language A) and Chemistry in 2006!
- In 2007, Anshula excelled in Theatre Arts and Geography.
- Her excellent consistency in performance throughout standards 9 and 10, earned her the ‘Head of Middle Years Award in 2006.
- She obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in Arts from Barnard College, Columbia University, New York. Studying there from 2008 until 2012, she studied Urban Affairs.
Extra Curricular Activities :
- Anshula was a class representative for the school’s Student Council from 2004 to 2006 & its vice-president thereafter.
- She was a member, as well as administrative head of the Model United Nations (MUN) society, between 2006 and 2007.
- During her university days, she became involved in several activities and acquired membership to diverse societies.
- She volunteered for a month (in June 2012) as a team builder for Economic Empowerment, organized by the Habitat for Humanity International.
- Anshula was also part of a two-week project on house-building at Cluj, Romania.
Career, Job, Salary and Net Worth :
- Anshula started work as an AdWords Representative for Google (October 2012 to February 2013).
- Thereafter, she became their Associate Account Strategist until July 2013, at Gurgaon, India.
- Anshula shifted back to Mumbai in January 2014, in order to take up the position of Associate – Licensing & Merchandising for Exceed Entertainment Pvt. Ltd, until January 2015.
- Following this, she took up the role of Operations Manager for actor Hrithik Roshan’s company, HRX, until November 2015.
Interests, Height and Trivia :
- Anshula loves to volunteer for community services and take up administrative roles.
- Her keenness to experiment with acting has led to participation in several stage plays since 2005, as a lead actor.
- They include A Midsummer Night’s Dream, The Night of January 16th A Thousand Cranes, Bhagwad Ajjukam and Oedipus.
