  • This experience in the trading market enabled her to land a position as a reporter for the Reuters Financial Television Network based in London, in the year 2000. This was her first job on television!
  • In 2001, Morrison returned to Sydney to work for Reuters Television as their Bureau Chief.
  • By 2003, Morrison had built herself a strong profile & started covering finance for Channel Seven and also for Sky News.

The bet had first started on 7th August when Morrison was interviewing Prime Minister John Key & she dared him to wear the jersey for Australian rugby if the Australian Wallabies defeated New Zealand in a game in Sydney.
  • On her first day live on television, she was asked to report on the happenings of the market on the London Stock Exchange. However, she froze for a few seconds, as her director kept talking into her earpiece giving instructions.

  1. There is A detail missing in this post. Oriel is my aunt and she actually has 2 children Kaius and another named Dashiel.
