Olivia was into singing, acting and dancing at school. When she was of age 9, she realised that she didn’t want to be an actress, but rather a TV reporter.
Realising that there wasn’t a direct path from any particular university degree into TV presenting, she decided to study for a double degree at La Trobe University to use as a backup career if her dream of TV presenting didn’t come true. She came away with a double degree in Psychology and Occupational Therapy.
After a year at La Trobe, Liv was burnt out from studying hard, playing sport and working 3 jobs that she transferred to Bendigo University for the next two years.

While working at ABC3, she studied Integrative Nutrition & received her Health Coach qualification.

After graduating from uni, Olivia hadn’t made any progress in becoming a TV presenter, so she first started with some volunteer and extra work.

A few months after one of the volunteer gigs, she received an email that ABC3 was looking for 2 new hosts.
She applied & went through an exhaustive audition process. Beating far more experienced applicants, Olivia managed to score the role on Studio 3 in 2011. She stayed in the role for four years.
Then she auditioned for The Loop, a music show in Sydney, alongside Scott Tweedie.

She is the lead singer of the folk pop group Jeanie, who are signed to Universal/ABC Music.
She has also hosted events such as Trop Jr 2015/2016, the ARIA Awards Red Carpet 2015 and ARIA Nominations Event 2016.
