Beverley O’Connor was born in November 1962 in South Africa, where she was also raised.
She studied journalism at a university in Johannesburg, where she also learned drama.
In 1985, Beverley moved to Australia.
She did ballet for over fifteen years, but then became passionate about sports in general too.
Beverley lives in Melbourne, Australia, where she’s been since 1985.

Career, Job, Salary and Net Worth :

Since 1987, Beverley has worked on and off for ABC, on both TV and radio.
In 1991, she became a breakfast presenter on 3LO, which then became 774 ABC Melbourne. She initially focused on topics such as politics and economics, but later started doing more segments on sports too.
From 1993 to 1994, Beverley presented a late-night football show called Late Ball on ABC.
In 1996, she started presenting the Saturday afternoon sports show on ABC.
In 1999, Beverley was asked to join the board of the Melbourne Football Club, a historically male board. She later became Vice Chairwoman, and then Board Director until she left in 2008.
