Originally from Miami, Florida, Vivian González is a weekday morning meteorologist anchor for WSVN-TV. She was born on March 23, 1983, & has a twin sister named Lilian.

- Growing up, Vivian had a keen interest in the weather. By the age of seven, she aspired to become a meteorologist one day.
- She often imitated weather presenters on television, and often practices at the beach on summer vacations.
- Gonzalez attended the Monsignor Edward Pace High School.
- After high school, she was unable to afford a degree directly relevant to her current line of work, so she enrolled with the Florida International University majoring in geography and minoring in mathematics and Spanish.
- After her graduation in 2005, she started work and subsequently enrolled with the Mississippi State University’s Distance Learning Broadcast Meteorology Program. She obtained her certificate in Meteorology, and eventually graduated with a Bachelor’s in Meteorology.
- She did this while working full-time, and at the same time planning a wedding.
- Vivian is married to Jorge. They have a daughter together, born in 2017 named Emma, who shares the same birthday as her!

- During her final year with Florida International University, Vivian secured an internship with Telemundo 51. There she met Phil Ferro, who moved to WSVN-TV one month before her internship came to an end.
- So, three months after her graduation, she joined the team at WSVN as a weather producer.
- Her background in geography proved extremely useful for the news team during the hurricane season, which hit record highs in 2005.
- By 2007, she was promoted to weather anchor for the Saturday Edition of Today in Florida.

- Vivian has the American Meteorological Seal of Approval, and is a member of both The National Weather Association and American Meteorological Society (AMS).
- Gonzalez often gives back to the community by teaching children about maths and science.
- Some charity organisations that she supports are the La Liga Contra El Cancer, and the Community Partnership for the Homeless and Habitat for Humanity.
- One of her favorite charities is the Make-A-Wish Foundation.

- Her mother provided as an inspiration for her, as she held the position of Vice President of Operation for Barclays Capital Bank in Miami while juggling family and social life.
