- Taryn Asher Illness / Sick : In 2017, Taryn thought she had food poisoning while she was on a vacation up north. She went to the hospital, and the illness was verified. Despite being ill, Taryn kept going to the gym and kept training, but then the next day, she got up with a fever.
- They found about two liters of blood in her abdomen. If she didn’t come in when she did, the doctors thought she would have died.
- Taryn was given two blood transfusions and received emergency surgery. Recovering well, the following day, she was able to come back home.
- The same year, she also suffered from pericarditis, an inflammation of the tissue near the heart caused by a specific virus.

I think Taryn is a terrible journalist as evidenced by her story about the hives being placed in Normandy Park in Royal Oak where she claimed that bees were dying from “pesticides and global warming”.
A news reader she is, a journalist she is not. If she had studied an iota she would have found tracheal mites, nosema intestinal fungus, parasitic phorid flies, tobacco ringspot virus, and other pests were the larger cause of the honey bee decline.
In fact, there are claims that the bee is not really in decline but just another left-wing attempt to assist in the, “We are killing the planet so we should pay more taxes” mantra.
