I was a nursing home administrator in Iowa for 9 years and taught nursing home administration for certification for 14 years. You haven’t focused on the neglect by the states to address the problem. They will NEVER close a nursing home because they would require to place all of the patients and to make the financial arrangements. This is the primary reason that bad providers continue to be in business. The other issue is that all of them are “for-profit”. I was reminded regularly that “I’m in it for the money” by my boss. Also some years ago, I did some research regarding the poor attitudes of many administrators towards their employees.

I just heard an interview with President Trump asking him if he felt the Confederate flag is a reminder of slavery among blacks. ??? Sorry, but I saw a posting on FB that I feel is VERY relevant: There isn’t a black person alive who ever WAS a slave and there isn’t a white person alive who ever HAD a slave. You are a great reporter, but that was a VERY dumb question
